William J. "Sonny" Swank

William J. “Sonny” Swank age 80 of Plum Boro, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, August 9, 2025 surrounded by his loving family. Sonny was a retired employee of Excell Auto Body and was an award winning over the road Truck Driver with 45 years of experience. He will be remembered as a soft spoken and generous man who was always willing to assist someone in need. He will be sorely missed by his beloved wife, Betsy (Dzaack) Swank; loving children, William “Jake” Swank, Carl (Sue) Swank, Kimberly A. Matura all of FL and Rick Pekarek of Lower Burrell, siblings; Vincent Swank and Nancy (Bob) Watkins, 7 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; Brayden, Penelope, Carson, Isabel, Aiden, Liam, Madilynn, Ayla Jo and Allison. In addition to his parents, Sonny was preceded in death by siblings; Henry Swank and Josie Pushcar. Friends and family are welcome on Friday, August 15, 2025 from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at the Wolfe-von Geis Funeral Home, Inc., 5701 Lincoln Ave., Export, PA 15632. where services will be held Saturday, August 16, 2025 at 11a.m. Interment will be private.
