William “Budd” Korach, aged 77, from Export, PA passed away on February 10th, 2023. He was born on September 1st, 1945, grew up in Export and served in the Air Force from 1964-68. He was extremely proud of his Air Force service where he was first stationed in Pakistan and later in the SAC air base in Bellevue, NE where he met his future wife, Mary and went on to enjoy 54 years of marriage together. He enjoyed spending time both with his family in Pennsylvania and during frequent trips back to Nebraska over the years. He enjoyed competitive arm wrestling at an early age, weightlifting throughout his life, spending time on his farm, and being a general handyman. He is retired from Westinghouse Electric Co.
He was predeceased by William “Bud” & Helen Korach, his parents, and Karen Britz, his sister. He is survived by his loving wife, Mary (Wrobleski) Korach; son, Will Korach; daughter-in-law Anna Korach and darling granddaughter Willow Korach; brother-in-law, John Britz; countless brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, and nephews from Nebraska; special friends, Nick, John, and David Yuris; and his 2 dogs Lukie and Onyx. A special thanks would like to be extended to Dr. Morcos Habib and the Arnold Palmer Hillman Cancer Center, especially Dr. Terry Evans and their receptionist, Crystal, who always greeted their patients with a cheerful smile.
A viewing will be held in his honor from 5-8 P.M. on Monday, February 13th at Wolfe-von Geis Funeral Home located at 5701 Lincoln Ave, Export, PA 15632. A private funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 14th at 11 A.M. In lieu of flowers, please donate to a charity of your choice.
