Thomas W.S. Borland of Export passed away at the age of 83 on October 22, 2018. Son of the late David W. and Lulu M. (Stimmel) Borland. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruby (King) Borland and brothers, David C. (Ann), Robert S. (Erna) and John B. Borland. He is survived by his sons and daughter, Timothy T. (Kathy), William Mark, Linda J. Wright (Timothy), Stephan C., Phillip D., and Michael G. Borland, two granddaughters, Abbey and Hannah Wright, and sisters Helen Geiger (Edward), Alethea Dunn (Thomas) and a brother James L. Borland. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Tom was a United States Army veteran and a member of the Delmont Presbyterian Church. He retired from Meyers Bus Line (formerly Kepple Coach) as a mechanic in 2000 and spent the rest of his life pursuing his true vocation as a farmer. He will be sorely missed by all that knew and loved him. Friends and family welcome Wednesday from 2-4 & 6-8 at the Wolfe-von Geis Funeral Home, Inc., 5701 Lincoln Ave., Export (724) 327-1400 where services will be held Thursday at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Twin Valley Memorial Park.
