Stephen “Kip” Paha, Jr., age 94 of Export, passed away on April 24, 2025 in William Penn Care Center, Penn Township. He was born February 27, 1931 in Homestead, a son of the late. Stephen and Mary (Mrazik) Paha, Sr. Kip was a United States Army Veteran who served during the Korean War. He was employed as a car salesman for over 50 years; working at Thatcher Ford, Colonial Motors and Thatcher Auto Sales. He enjoyed reading the newspaper, and watching the Steelers, Pirates and NASCAR. He was a member of the PNA Club and the Export Italian American Club. Kip loved his candy and desserts, but most of all he loved being surrounded by family and friends.. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Loretta (Larese) Paha; devoted son, Steve Paha; and a sister in-law Connie (Clem) Tom. Surviving is his loving son, Tim (Jo-Ann) Paha; grandchildren, Brooke (Eddie), Stephanie (Laura Lee), Jason (Stephanie) and Jesse; great grandchildren, Max, Maddie, Kayden and Landon; brother in-law, Larry (Betsy) Larese and sister in-law, Kathy (Al) Romagna. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and friends. Friends will be received Sunday, April 27, 2025 from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m at the Wolfe-von Geis Funeral Home, Inc., 5701 Lincoln Ave., Export (724) 327-1400 where Liturgical services will be held Monday, April 28, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow with military honors accorded by the South Greensburg American Legion in Grandview Cemetery, Export. The family requests in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Kip’s name to the Export Volunteer Fire Department, 5815 Washington Ave., Export, PA 15632.The family would like to thank the staff at William Penn Care Center for their loving care.
