Sara "Helen" (Rebich) Cherrone

Sara “Helen” (Rebich) Cherrone age 92 of Export died Sunday, February 15, 2015 in Excela Health, Greensburg. She was born January 17, 1923 in Export a daughter of the late Theodore and Sarah (Perich) Rebich. In addition to her parents Helen was preceded in death by her beloved husband Robert R. “Bobby” Cherrone and a loving daughter Mary Martha Hill; three brothers, Peter, Charles “Luddy” and Robert Rebich , four sisters; Martha Trbovich, Mary Medrick, Mildred Cerkovnik and Kathryn “Dolly” Rebich. Surviving is her son in-law Loren D. Hill; 2 Grandsons, Jon and Loren Lee Hill a Granddaughter Michelle Van Heal; 3 Great Granddaughters a Great Grandson; nephews, Robert Rebich, James, Brad and Wayne Norris and Anthony Cherrone; nieces, Mildred Gross, Deborah Bayura, Christina Bayura, Sandy Tarbuck, Pamela Hopper, Pricilla Cappa, Charlotte Bush and Gloria Wallace. Also survived by and great nieces and Great nephews. Sara was a lifelong resident of Export. She retired from the Elliott Company in Jeannette but enjoyed being a homemaker and cooking. She will be sadly missed by her family and many friends. Friends will be received at the Wolfe-von Geis Funeral Home, Inc., 5701 Lincoln Ave., Export (724) 327-1400 Tuesday from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m.  and 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. where services will be held Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. with the Very Reverend Father D.C.
