Sam Vucelich age 88 of Beaver Falls formerly of Export died Wednesday June 22, 2016 at home with his loving family at his side. He served as a Canine Trainer for the National Guard and was a World War II Army Veteran. Sam was a member of St. Nicholas Serbian Orthodox Church in Monroeville. He enjoyed hunting, gardening, playing the harmonica, breeding chickens and spending time with family and friends. In addition to his parent; Sam was preceded in death by his beloved wife Alice (Paulich) Vucelich; 2 sons, Samuel J. Vucelich Sr. and David Vucelich; siblings, Sarah Holsen and her husband Charles, Nick and his wife Mary Vucelich, George Vucelich, Paul and his wife Smilja Vucelich, Peter Vucelich and an infant sister Mimo. Survived by his loving family; Daughter In-law Roberta “Bobbi Jo” Vucelich; Grandchildren, Allison, Samuel J. Jr., Alex, Michael and Bekah; Great Grandchildren, Samuel J. III and Perry; siblings, Vlade and his wife Rose Vucelich, Mildred Derk and her late husband George, Reddy and his wife Julia Vucelich. Also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins. Friends welcome Sunday from 3-7 p.m. at the Wolfe-von Geis Funeral Home, Inc., 5701 Lincoln Ave., Export (724) 327-1400 where services will be held Monday at 11:00 a.m. with The Very Reverend D.C. Malich officiating. Interment will follow in Grandview Cemetery, Export with military honors accorded by the Greensburg V.F.W Honor Guard.
