Rose Marie (Nagoda) Balest

Rose M. (Nagoda) Balest age 89 of Ringertown died unexpectedly on Saturday June 20, 2015. She was born November 25, 1925 in Export a daughter of the late Frank G. and Mary (Remic) Nagoda. In addition to her parents, She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Bruno Balest and a brother Edward Nagoda.  Rose worked for 25 years as manager of the Export Elementary School Cafeteria. Surviving are her loving daughters; Rose Elaine  Carbone and her husband John of Clarion and Marilyn Greece and her husband Robert of Apollo. Also survived by 6 Granddaughters and 8 Great Grandchildren; a sister Mary Jane Shingler and her husband Ray, sister in-law Mary Nagoda and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Friends welcome at the Wolfe-von Geis Funeral Home, Inc., 5701 Lincoln Ave., Export (724) 327-1400 Monday from 6-8 p.m. and Tuesday from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. A funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. in St. John Baptist de la Salle Church, Delmont with Father Joseph Bonafed as celebrant.
