Robert Delano "Russian" Yerick

Robert D. “Russian” Yerick, 89 of Delmont, died peacefully on January 26, 2025. He was born June 28, 1935 in Ringertown, a son of the late Charles and Romana Yerick. Russian was preceded in death by his wife Dorthia “Dottie” (Close) Yerick, siblings; Frank, Charles “Charlie” Yerick, Helen (Yerick) Compton, Ann (Yerick) Matrisch and an infant sister, Jane Yerick. He is survived by special nieces, Mary Ann Seanor and Lucciana Peterela and special friends, Craig and Anna, thank you for or all your help. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Russian was a former used car salesman and served as a constable for Westmoreland County for many years. He was an avid Pittsburgh Pirate fan and will be remembered for his fun loving spirit in Export and surrounding communities. He will be sorely missed and may he rest in peace. Respecting Russian’s wishes he will be entombed next to his wife in Twin Valley Mausoleum, Delmont. Services will be held privately.
