Robert Byrne Obituary

Robert C. Byrne, age 87 of Murrysville, died peacefully on January 14, 2023. He was born June 21, 1935 in Wilkinsburg, a son of the late Charles and Beatrice (Matson) Byrne. Bob was Dentist in Wilkinsburg for 50 years until his retirement in the late 1990’s. He was a United States Airforce veteran, a member of Christ's Lutheran Church, Murrysville and the Murrysville Lions Club. Bob enjoyed golfing and was an avid Ham Radio operator. Surviving is his beloved wife; Gail (Wendel) Byrne; loving children, Robert (Mary) Byrne, David (Lisa) Byrne and Denise (Michael) Ferguson. Also survived by 4 grandchildren. Respecting Bob’s wishes services and interment will be private. Wolfe-von Geis Funeral Home, Inc., Export is assisting the family with funeral arrangements. The family suggests memorial contributions in Mr. Byrne’s name to the Murrysville Lions Club, 3398 North Hills Rd., Murrysville, PA 15668.
