Richard R. “Dick” Glozer, age 79, of Murrysville, passed away January 1, 2021, at home with his loving family by his side. He was born April 6, 1941 in Star Junction, PA, son of the late Martin Sr. and Anna (Kimak) Glozer. Dick started his career at Mesta Machinery in Homestead and retired from Hyde Park Foundry and Machine Company in 1998. He was a proud Vietnam era Army veteran. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife Barbara (Daw) Glozer; an infant son Robert Martin Glozer; and a sister Patricia Ann Frebraro. Surviving is his loving daughter and son in-law; Jennifer and Michael Muretisch of Plum Boro; two cherished grandsons, Justin and Ryan Muretisch; life-long friend, Kathleen Speirs; a brother, Martin Glozer, Jr. and a brother-in-law, Daniel (Lavonne) Daw. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Friends and family welcome at the Wolfe-von Geis Funeral Home, Inc., Export on Saturday, September 25, 2021 from 11 a.m. until time of service at 1 p.m. Interment will follow in William Penn Cemetery, Church Hill, with military honors.
