Richard G. Queen, Sr., age 76 of Sarver died February 12, 2018 at home with his loving family by his side. He was born December 9, 1941 in Natrona a son of the late Walter J. and Carrie E. (Stiver) Queen. Rich was a retired Brick layer for the local #9 in Pittsburgh. He was a United States Army veteran who enjoyed wood working, fishing and golfing but most of all enjoyed spending time with his family. He will be sorely missed by his wife, children, grandchildren, siblings, nieces, nephews and friends. In addition to his parents, Rich was preceded in death by brothers and sisters. Surviving is his beloved wife of 51 years; Geneva (Lambing) Queen, children; Richard G. Queen, Jr. and his wife Christine, Scott W. Queen and his wife Nichol and Carrie E. Ryan and her husband Matthew; grandchildren, Brooke Queen, Matthew Ryan, and Timothy Ryan; siblings, Deloris Grebeck and Clyde Queen. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Respecting Rich’s wishes there will be no visitation. A celebration of life service will be held Saturday, March 17, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. in the Zion United Methodist Church, 438 Bear Creek Rd., Sarver, PA 16055.
