Rhoda M. Kachilo

Rhoda M. Kachilo age 83 of Washington, DC, passed away November 4, 2023. She was born December 5, 1939 in Export, a daughter of the late Charles “Charlie” and Ruby (Vucelich) Kachilo. Rhoda was a retired Secretary for the AFL-CIO, Building and Construction Trade Department and was previously employed as a secretary for the Elliott Group in Jeannette. She was a Graduate of Franklin Regional High School class of 1957 and was crowned Miss Pennsylvania in 1959. In addition to her parents, Rhoda was preceded in death by a sister, Trudy Whisenant. Surviving is her brother Charles Kachilo, extended family members and many good friends. Family and friends will be received from 4-8 pm on Friday, November 17, 2023 at Wolfe von Geis Funeral Home, Inc., 5701 Lincoln Ave, Export, PA 15632 where services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, November 18, 2023.
