Raymond J. Cavada

Raymond J. Cavada, age 93, of White Valley, passed away at home on Saturday October 14, 2023. Son to the late Amando and Angeline (Regotti) Cavada, he was born May 22, 1930. He is survived by his brothers, Alvin and his significant other, Judith (Battaglia), and Roy and his wife, Gloria; his sister Genevieve Cavada; sister in law, Darlene Cavada, and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Joe and Silvio Cavada, and sister, Irene Prene. Ray spent his years as a coal miner, he worked construction, and enjoyed yard work, at home and at manor Valley Golf Course. He also enjoyed spending time at the White Valley Athletic Association Club where he was named the oldest member. In respecting Ray’s wishes, services will be private. Wolfe von Geis Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
