Phyllis (Remic) Saletta

Phyllis A. Saletta, 80 of Penn Twp.; passed away Wednesday, September 4, 2024. She was born July 28, 1944 in Greensburg to the late Arthur and Elizabeth (Berardinelli) Remic. She attended Franklin High School and Robert Morris University Business School. Phyllis loved watching Pittsburgh Sports and was more often than not, lucky at the casino’s. She had an absolute love for her cat, Fluffy, vacationing with family and spending time at our recreational home in the woods. She was always very kind and spoke eloquently. Any time she spend with her grandsons made her happy. Phyllis is preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Gary Saletta, her sister M. Arlene Ankeney, and brother in-law, Theodore Ankeney. Phyllis is survived by her children, Chrissy (Mark) and David; grandsons, Cole and Paul Darragh. She leaves her sister; Elizabeth (Jim) Kral of Arizona, and her in-laws, Richard and Adele Saletta of Massachusetts along with many nieces and nephews. Private funeral services were held at the Wolfe-von Geis Funeral Home, Inc., Export, followed by Entombment in Twin Valley Memorial Park, Delmont.
