Norman “John” vonAllmen age 89 of Murrysville passed away unexpectedly at his home on Monday, February 22, 2021. He was born December 16, 1931 in Detroit MI a son of the late Werner and Nora (Scratch) vonAllmen. John graduated on Michigan State University in 1959. He was a retired Field Sales Representative for several companies, one of which was General Electric where he was instrumental in developing a Missile Weapons System for the U.S. Department of Defense. He was a Technical writer and United States Marine veteran having served during the Korean War. In addition, n to his parents, John was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 57 years Elizabeth J. (Campbell) vonAllmen and two brothers; Wayne and Burl vonAllmen. Surviving are his loving children; Desiree (Michael) Zerebnick of Export, Kraig (Cindy) vonAllmen of Export and Ellen (Andrew) Teitelman of Philadelphia; four cherished grandchildren, Michael (Holly) Zerebnick, Annaliese (Ross) Piraino, Lauren (Enrique) Orioli and Rachel Teitelman; two great grandchildren, Preston and Sofia Orioli; a sister, Lois Nelson and a brother David vonAllmen. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends. The family would like to thank Carol Fisher for her loving care and companionship over the years.
