Nancy J (Uplinger) Fisher

Nancy J. (Uplinger) Fisher, 80 of Irwin formerly of White Valley, died Thursday, January 16, 2025. She was born June 24, 1944 in Greensburg, a daughter of the late Homer and Dorothy (Clever) Uplinger. Nancy enjoyed sewing, knitting and crocheting. She was wonderful baker, filling the house with mouth watering aromas. But most of all she cherished the moments with family, especially her grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Nancy was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Rudolph “Rudy” Fisher, Jr. Surviving are her loving children; Deanna (Robert) Moyer of Pittsburgh and Monica (Nathan) Matera of Johnstown; cherished grandchildren, Andrew, Alison, Ethan, Noah, Jacob and Mary. Respecting Nancy’s wishes, services and entombment are private. Wolfe-von Geis Funeral Home, Inc, Export is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.
