Revolt, Monica “Monnie” (Webster), age 74, of Greensburg passed away Thursday morning, April 23, 2015 surrounded by her family. She was born to Blane and Gen Webster on the great plains of Nebraska, growing up on the family farm. She attended the same country school where she later became a teacher. After meeting and marrying Tom Revolt, her husband of 55 years, she moved to western Pennsylvania. Together, they raised their children and ran the family businesses. Over the years she made many trips to her two favorite places; often returning home to the Nebraska prairie and hiking to Phantom Ranch at the bottom of the Grand Canyon. Monnie embraced every moment and her presence brought joy. She had an easy laugh, loving spirit and a warmth that cannot be explained, only felt. She lived her life with a quiet grace and a loving, generous heart.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her three daughters: Julie (Kerry) Bradley, Jill (Kevin) Morris, and Laura (Liam) Minnock. Five grandchildren: Jesse, Kaitie, Meghan and Abigail Bradley, and Keelin Morris. Also survived by sister Patti (Mike) Gulley, brother Jim (Jan) Webster, sister-in-law Marlene Costello, brother-in-law Denny Revolt and numerous nieces and nephews.
