Obituary

Mildred (Kukich) Hancsak age 99 of Export died Wednesday, March 9, 2022 in UPMC East. She was born January 24, 1923 in Export, a daughter of the late Dmitar and Milica (Merich) Kukich. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husbands; Charles Mixinotch and Cyril Hancsak. Mildred was a member of St. Nicholas Serbian Orthodox Church in Monroeville and was a life- long resident of Export. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who will be sorely missed. Surviving are her loving daughters; Selma (Mixinotch) Resnick and her husband Russ of Raleigh, N.C, Millie Mixinotch of Squirrel Hill, Michele (Hancsak) Howland and her husband Bob of Penn Hills and a cherished granddaughter; Jessica Resnick. Friends and family welcome Sunday from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at the Wolfe-von Geis Funeral Home, Inc. Services Monday at 11 a.m. in St. Nicholas Serbian Orthodox Church, Monroeville. Entombment will follow in Twin Valley Memorial Park, Delmont.
