Matthew “Matt” Felesky, age 84 of Delmont, an Export native, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 22, 2026. He was born April 2, 1942 (Born on his Mom’s birthday), a son of the late William Felesky and Ann (Malazich) Felesky Negich. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Edward Felesky. If you knew Matt, he was a story teller and made friends everywhere he went. He had a really good heart, almost to a fault. He was a fighter and loved telling his stories and saying that he was one of the toughest guys in Export. He spent most of his career as an owner/operator truck driver. He was a long-time member of the Teamsters local 30 and retired from the Teamsters Construction side, also hauling heavy equipment. A good many years of driving were with his wife, Connie by his side going all over the country. Driving truck was just not his passion, but a way of life, continuing long after retirement. He would drive his motorhome, towing his pickup behind with his Harley in the bed of his truck, headed to warmer weather and eventually agreeing to settle in Yuma, Arizona to build their winter home where he passed. He had a love for dogs, motorcycles and nice cars his whole life. He was also co-owner of Cheryl’s Pizza with his wife, Connie. Connie was the love of his life, the forbidden love that couldn’t be stopped. They secretly eloped and vowed to stay together till death do us part and shared more than 64 years of marriage. He is survived by his loving family; wife Constance “Connie” (Zaccagnini) Felesky; daughters, Cheryl Tilker of Greensburg and Brenda Gardone and her husband Anthony of Delmont; grandsons, Matthew and Anthony Gardone; great grandchildren, Alexa Rumick; cousins, nieces and nephews. Friends and family will be received Sunday, June 28, 2026 from 12 noon until 8 p.m. at the Wolfe-von Geis Funeral Home., Inc., 5701 Lincoln Ave., Export (724) 327-1400 where services will be held at Monday, June 29, 2026 at 11 a.m. with Father Ken Zaccagnini officiating.
