Mary E. Cain, age 93 of Export, passed away at Forbes Regional Hospital on Monday Nov. 27, 2023. She was born Feb. 5, 1930 to the late Joseph and Sarah Stankewich. Mary is survived by her son Jack and his wife Carol Cain; daughter, Sandra Hood; grandchildren, John Cain, Danielle Tillery, Justin Tillery, and Christine (Kenny) Buhr; and great grandchildren, Alex, Dylan, Logan, Charlotte, and Henry III. In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded by her husband, Paul; son, Dennis; brothers, George and Joseph Stankewich; and sisters, Helen Lovato and Anna Mae Stankewich. Mary was a life member and officer of the Export AmericanLegion Auxiliary, and enjoyed her time doing crossword puzzles, playing cards, and baking. Family and friends are welcomed at the Wolfe von Geis Funeral Home, 5701 Lincoln Ave, Export, PA 15644, on Wednesday, Nov. 29, 2023 from 2-4 and 6-8. There will be a funeral service at the funeral home on Thursday Nov. 30, 2023 at 12 noon. Interment will follow in Twin Valley Memorial Park, Delmont.
