Loretta (Rebich) Bartlett

November 15, 1933 ~ September 1, 2015 (age 81) 81 Years Old


Loretta Bartlett age 81 of Murrysville died Tuesday, September 1, 2015 at Harmar Village Care Center, Cheswick. She was born November 15, 1933 in White Valley a daughter of the late George and Louise (Vigani) Rebich. In addition to her parents Loretta was preceded in death by her beloved husband Wilford “Mike” Bartlett and a sister Lorraine Starn. Surviving are her loving children, Michael and his wife Nadeen Bartlett of Delmont and Cindy Lundberg and her husband Allan of Lower Burrell; cherished Grandchildren Jarrod DeArmitt, Nickolas Lundberg, Stefan Lundberg and his wife Katie, Step Grandson William Knoll; great Grandchildren Gunnar and Gavin Lundberg; devoted sisters Judith Hopkins and her husband Richard of Niagara Falls and Janice Walters and her husband Alex of Murrysville; Brother in-law Martin Starn of White Valley. Also survived by nieces and nephews. Loretta was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Export where she was a member of the Alter Rosary Society. She worked as a clerk for the former Hub Store in Export and and  was a sales representative for Avon for 35 years. As a charter member of the Murrysville Garden Club, Loretta Taught Jr. gardening to local children and was also a Sunday school teacher and cook for the Export/Murrysville Rotary Club. She also was an avid bowler once bowling a 300 game at she Export Moose Lanes followed by another nearly perfect game until the last frame. Loretta’s family, especially her children was the most important part of her life. The Bartlett family would like to thank the staff at Harmar Village for the loving care they bestowed on Loretta and her family; they were her angles for the last days of her life. Lorraine Oakes was also a caregiver the family would like to acknowledge for her love and compassion. Friends welcome Friday from 2-9 p.m. at the Wolfe-von Geis Funeral Home, Inc., 5701 Lincoln Avenue, Export (724) 327-1400. A funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday at 12:30 p.m. in St. Mary Catholic Church, Export. Interment will follow in Twin Valley Memorial Park, Delmont.
