Kenneth P. “Kenny” Kristan age 71 of Delmont died Friday, July 17, 2015 in UPMC Montefiore Hospital Pittsburgh. He was born April 8, 1944 in Greensburg a son of Jean (Kusiolek) Kristan of Greensburg and the late Charles Kristan. Ken was a retired Sheet metal worker with Smwia local union 12, Pittsburgh. He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Export where he sang in the choir and was a member of the Catholic Men’s Fellowship. Kenny also belonged to the Export Moose Bowling League and the Silver Sneakers. Surviving is his beloved wife of 49 years Bernice (Messalle) Kristan; 2 loving children, Kenneth M. (Susan) Kristan of Mertztown and Lorrie (Mike) Schneider of Cranberry Township; 5 cherished Grandchildren; Adam Kristan, Daniel Kristan, Emily Schneider, Evan Schneider and Luke Kristan; and a devoted brother Charles J. (Jeannine) Kristan of Ocala, FL. Also survived by 2 nieces and 3 nephews. Friends welcome at the Wolfe-von Geis Funeral Home, Inc., 5701 Lincoln Ave., Export (724) 327-1400 Sunday from 6-8 p.m. and Monday from 2:00 – 8:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Tuesday in St. Mary Church, Export at 11:00 a.m. (Everyone please meet at the church) with Father Joseph Bonafed as celebrant. Interment will follow in Twin Valley Memorial Park, Delmont. The family suggests memorial contributions to a charity of the donor’s choice.
