Judith C. "Judy (Cain) Rivardo

Judith C. “Judy” Rivardo age 85 of Export went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, June 22, 2022, in Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital with her loving family by her side. She was born October 19, 1936 in Pittsburgh a daughter of the late William D. and Anna (Rulyak) Cain. Judy was an active lifelong member of St. John Baptist de La Salle Church, Delmont where she volunteered her time to the funeral luncheon committee and baked delicious cookies and pies for the attendees and for the recipients of Meals on Wheels. Judy created legendary cookie tables for weddings and other special occasions.   She was a loving caregiver to her children, grandchildren, greatgrandchildren, parents, sister and in-laws who all adored her. In addition to her parents, Judy was preceded in death by siblings; Frank Cain, Agnes Tranchine, Phillip Cain and William Cain. She is survived by her beloved husband of 66 years, Donald F. Rivardo; living children, Karen (David) Slepoy of Minneola, FL, Daniel (Robbie) Rivardo of Brown Summit, NC, Dennis (Dee) Rivardo of Baytown, TX and Mark (Kari) Rivardo of Latrobe; cherished grandchildren, Jason Rivardo, Kristen (Derek) Dice, Robert Dern, Ashton (Keagan) Kogut, Madison Rivardo, Katelynn Rivardo, Vance Bost and Charlie Rivardo; admired great grandchildren, Austin Rivardo, Alexis Dice, Brandon Dice, Callen Dice, Luke Kogut, Kade Kogut and Emma Kogut; siblings, Ruth (the late George) Scarlett, Esther ( the late Fred) Schriever and Tom (Coralen) Cain. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Friends and family are welcomed Sunday, June 26, 2022, from 2 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the Wolfe-von Geis Funeral Home, Inc., 5701 Lincoln Ave., Export (724) 327-1400. A funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. John Baptist de La Salle Church, Monday, June 27, 2022 at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow in Twin Valley Memorial Park, Delmont.
