Josephine "Josie" F (Bortot) Doyle

Josephine F. “Josie” Doyle, age 93 of Delmont, PA passed away on Sunday, March 19, 2023 at home surrounded by her loving family. Born on January 1, 1930, she was daughter of the late Angelo and Ida (Misselli) Bortot. She is survived by her children, Donald (Sue) Doyle, Janice (Rick) Adamic, and Douglas (Rose) Doyle; her grandchildren, Tony (Helen), Patrick, Suzie, Michael (Meghan), Heather (Eric), John (Kevin), and Casey (Joe); her great grandchildren, Cara, Mia, Colin, Finn, Claire, Nora, and Delaney; sister-in-law Noreen (Al) Shuster, loving niece Margie Bonati as well as numerous other nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Josie was preceded in death by her husband, Francis “Spike”, and her siblings, Mary (Albert) Bonati, Elsie (Henry) Remic, Emma (Joe) Havranek, and Lou (Dolly) Bortot. Josie enjoyed spending time with family and making Sunday spaghetti dinners for everyone. She was a proud member of St. John Baptist de La Salle Church in Delmont and Christian Mothers. The family would also like to give a special thanks to Chris and Cindy from ProMedica Hospice. Family and friends are welcome Tuesday, March 21, 2023 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm and Wolfe-von Geis Funeral Home, 5701 Lincoln Ave, Export, PA, 724-327-1400.
