Joseph P. Ugen, Sr.

Joseph P. “Joe” Ugen, Sr. age 76 of Export died Saturday, December 17, 2016 in UPMC East, Monroeville. He was born January 25, 1940 in Pittsburgh a son of the late Albert and Mary (Piechowicz) Ugen. Joe was a member of the Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Export, AARP and the Italian American Club, Export. Surviving are his beloved wife June (Kline) Ugen, loving children Joseph P. Ugen, Jr. and his wife Donna of Washington Township and Michael Ugen and his wife Michelle of Orlando, FL; a brother Albert Ugen and his wife Margaret of Turtle Creek and a sister Mary Ann Ugen of Pittsburgh. Friends welcome Wednesday 6-8 p.m. and Thursday 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at the Wolfe-von Geis Funeral Home, Inc., 5701 Lincoln Ave., Export (724) 327-1400. Services will be held Friday at 11:00 a.m. in Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Export. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery, Penn Township.
