Joan (Cima) Susich age 89 of Export died Friday, February 4, 2022 at home with her loving daughter by her side. She was born May 31, 1932 in Claridge a daughter of the late John and Frances (Ocepek) Cima. Joan was a retired employee of Thrift Drug in Murrysville and was a member of St. Mary Church in Export. She enjoyed going to the Casino, crocheting, baking, cooking, gardening, playing cards with friends and was an animal lover; especially her dog Ginger and cat Barney. Surviving are her loving children; Barbara “Barb” (George) Stagon of Plum Borough, Robert “Bob” (Laura) Susich of Delmont and James “Jim” Susich of Delmont; cherished grandchildren, Fr. Matthew (Eleni) Stagon, Jeff (Nicole) Stagon, Connie (Tyler) Kimmel, Jennifer (Ryan) Bailey, Heather (Dave) Kress and Nicholas Susich, 10 great- grandchildren; a sister Anna Belle Schupbach and a nephew Bill Schupbach. In addition to her parents Joan was preceded in death by her beloved husband; Nicholas “Zip” Susich and a brother John “Jackie” Cima. Friends and family welcome Monday from 2-8 p.m. at the Wolfe-von Geis Funeral Home, Inc., 5701 Lincoln Ave., Export (724) 327-1400. A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. in St. Mary Church, Export. Interment will follow in Twin Valley Memorial Park, Delmont.
