James L. "Jim" Wilson

James L. “Jim” Wilson age 68 of Export died peacefully Saturday, December 20, 2014 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born April 16, 1946 in Homestead a son of the late William and Violet (Rose) Wilson. Jim was a former employee of Westinghouse in East Pittsburgh and retired as a welder with Dura Bond Steel Corp in Export. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother Robert Wilson and a Brother in-law John Sloan. Surviving is his beloved wife Barbara (Glunt) Wilson; 2 loving children, Brian (Lisa) Wilson and Lisa Wilson all of Export, a Brother William (Moon) Wilson of Idaho, a Sister Nancy Sloan of Turtle Creek and several nieces and nephews. Jim will be sorely missed by all that knew and loved him including his 2 dogs; Colby Blake and Diesel. Friends will be received at the Wolfe-von Geis Funeral Home, Inc., 5701 Lincoln Ave., Export (724) 327-1400 Tuesday from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. where services will be held Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Dan Lawrence officiating. Interment will be private. The family suggest in lieu of flowers memorial contributions in Mr. Wilson’s name to Animal Friends, 562 Camp Horne Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15237.
