James E. “Jim” Hand, age 94, of Murrysville, died Friday, November 28, 2025. He was born December 15, 1930 in Pittsburgh, a son of the late Edwin and Margaret Hand. In addition to his parents, Jim was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 66 years Patricia Ann “Pat” Hand; loving son, Robert “Bob” Hand; son in-law, Gary Sullivan and a brother, Richard Hand. Surviving are his loving children; Karen Hand, Steve Hand; daughter in-law, Diana Hand; grandchildren, Tiffini (Jeff) Parsons, Michael (Shauna) Hand and Zachary Hand; great grandchildren, Brody Parsons, Sidney Hand, Reese Hand, Cameron Hand and a brother, Thomas Hand. Jim was an employee of Glen Lumber and was a retired Milkman for Turner Dairy with 38 years of service. He was a United States Army veteran having served in the Korean War, member of the American Legion, Export Italian American Club, the Export Moose where her served as an officer. He was also an avid model car enthusiast and a life time Steelers fan. Friends and family will be received from 1 to 3 and 5-7 p.m. Monday, Dec 8., 2025, at WOLFE-VON GEIS FUNERAL HOME INC., 5701 Lincoln Ave., Export, where services will be held at 7 p.m. Private interment will be held at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Cecil Twp. The family suggests in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Jim’s name to the Wounded Warrior Project, 4899 Belfort Rd., Jacksonville, FL 32256.
