James L. Borland

James L. “Jim” Borland age 74 of Export died Saturday, November 17, 2018 in Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh. He was born December 10, 1943 in Greensburg a son of the late David W. and Lulu (Stimmel) Borland. Jim was an employee of Irwin Car and Equipment after 52 years of dedicated service. He enjoyed farming with his brothers on the family farm and admiring vintage cars, especially Hot Rods. But most of all he enjoyed spending time with family and his dog. In addition to his parents; Jim was preceded in death by his siblings; Tom, Dave, Bob and John Borland. Surviving are his loving children; Charlie (Suzanne) Borland of Gilbert, AZ, Dennis (Jennifer) Borland of Johnstown, CO, Jennifer (Dan) Martinez of Tempe, AZ and Beth (Doug) Jennings of Gilbert, AZ; 12 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren; 2 sisters, Helen Geiger and Alethea (Thomas) Dunn. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Friends and family welcome Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Wolfe-von Geis Funeral Home, Inc., (724) 327-1400 where services will be held Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Twin Valley Memorial Park, Delmont.
