Helen F. (Borland) Geiger

Helen F. Geiger age 93 of Export, died Monday, October 31, 2022 at home, surrounded by her loving children. She was born July 23, 1929 in Export, a daughter of the late David and Lulu (Stimmell) Borland. Helen was a member of the Delmont Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed shopping, traveling the world, decorating her home for special occasions and summer vacations with her family at Fenwick Island, DE. Helen was known for sending special cards and letters to family and friends and her family meant the world to her. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 72 years; Edward Geiger, Sr and siblings; Charles, Bob, John, Tom, and Jim Borland. Surviving are her loving children; Gwen Weiss of N. Huntingdon, Ed Geiger, Jr., and twin sons, Dave and Doug Geiger all of Export; cherished grandchildren, Courtney (Ben) Edmonson, Megan (Damian) Flott, Zach (Steph) Weiss and Raissa (Jake) Moore; adored great grandchildren, Vincent Moore, Natalie Moore and Ada Edmonson; sister, Alethea Dunn; sister in-laws, Erna Borland, Ann Borland; brother in-laws, Lou Geiger and Tom Dunn; cousins, Dick Stimmell and Eleanor (Dale) Stewart. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Friends and family welcome at the Wolfe-von Geis Funeral Home, Inc., 5701 Lincoln Ave., Export (724) 327-1400 on Friday, November 4, 2022 from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m., where services will be held Saturday at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Twin Valley Memorial Park, Delmont.
