Glenn H. “Boney” Kepple, Sr. age 88 of White Valley passed away November 22, 2018 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born January 24, 1930 in McCullough a son of the late Clarence and Ida Mae (Lydick) Kepple. Glenn was a retired employee of the Municipality of Murrysville Public Works, a United States Navy veteran and was a member of the White Valley VFD which he joined in 1960 and served as Fire Chief. Boney was fondly remembered as the “Mayor” of White Valley where he could be seen visiting friends and neighbors on his golf cart. Most everyone in White Valley has a fond memory of him. In addition to his parents, Glenn was preceded in death by 2 brothers; Robert and Donald Kepple and 3 sisters; Geneva Gray, Jacqueline Frye and Geraldine Clemens. Surviving is his beloved wife June (Clement) Kepple; 3 loving children, Glenn H. Kepple, Jr. of White Valley and his partner Sharon Brinker of Export, Karen (Mike) Chinchock of Export and Kimberly Kepple and her partner Dave Holmes both of Greensburg; cherished grandchildren Brian (Christina) Chinchock, Joseph Chinchock and his fiancee Sherry Lehota, Lindsey Kepple and Stacy (Cory) Bohinc. Also 5 great grandchildren with twins on the way. Friends and family welcome Sunday from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. where a blessing service will be held Monday at 11:00 with Fr. Efren Ambre officiating. Interment will follow in Twin Valley Memorial Park, Delmont with military honors accorded by the S. Greensburg American Legion Post 981. The family suggests memorial contributions to the Special Olympics and thank Heartland Hospice, especially Robin and Jamie for their compassionate care.
