Francis M. Angeloni, age 94 of Export, died Friday, July 15, 2022 in Forbes Hospital, Monroeville. He was born April 26, 1928 in Butler, a son of the late Frank and Mary (Derita) Angeloni. He was World War II Army veteran and a graduate of Penn State University where he taught for many years. Fran was a retired Senior Vice President of research and development for Koppers Inc. He was a devote member of St. Mary Church, Export, where he sang in the choir and was a member of the Camerata, at St. Vincent in Unity Township. Fran was a volunteer at Forbes Hospital. His hobbies included wood working, fishing, singing and listening to classical music. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 66 years, Faye (Hamaty) Angeloni; siblings, Cecelia “CeCe” Beblo and Donald “Dutch” Angeloni. Surviving are his loving children; Susan (the late James) Jefferies of Sauderton and James “Jim” (Maria) Angeloni of Economy Borough; cherished grandchildren, Christopher Jeffries, Katie Angeloni and his treasured great granddaughter Sofie. Also survived by a host of nieces and nephews. In interment will follow with military honors, accorded by the South Greensburg American Legion in Twin Valley Memorial Park, Delmont.
