Emma (Frescura) Welsh age 85 of White Valley, passed away on Wednesday, July 30, 2025 in Forbes Hospital, Monroeville. She was born November 28, 1939 in Pittsburgh, the daughter of the late Dante and Mary Julia (Borandi) Frescura. Emma was a co-owner of the former Frescura Auto parts on Rt. 22, Murrysville with her late brother Neil. She would fondly remember the distinct aroma of the store that she found to be pleasing. During her many years of employment, Emma developed life time friends and lots of great memories. She will be remembered as a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, sister, sister in-law, pet owner and friend. Surviving is her cherished daughter, Marisa (Matt) Hutsko of White Valley; adored grandchildren, Zachary Welsh. Alex Hutsko and Eric Hutsko; devoted nephews, Dan, Neil, Bob, and Joe Frescura, who were always there to lend a hand. In addition to her parents, Emma was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Richard “Dick” Welsh, son, Richard “Ricky” Welsh; grandson, Richard Welsh; brothers, Neil (Tootie) Frescura, Emmanuel (Freda) Frescura and a special niece, Marie Dombroski. Friends and family are welcome Sunday, August 3, 2025 from 2--8 p.m. at the Wolfe-von Geis Funeral Home., Inc., 5701 Lincoln Avenue, Export (724) 327-1400, where services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, August 4, 2025. Interment will follow in Twin Valley Memorial Park, Delmont. The family suggest memorial contributions in Emma’s name to the White Valley V.F.D., at 6215 Old William Penn Hwy, Export, PA 15632 or to your local Humane Society.
