Edgar D. “Eddie” Linsenbigler age 77 of Murrysville passed away Thursday, April 16, 2015 peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born May 1, 1937 in Apollo a son of the late Edgar D. and Marie (Mornes) Linsenbigler. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by siblings; Catherine, George, Pete and Rose. Eddie worked as a self-employed Ceramic Tile Contractor until his retirement and was a United States Army veteran who served during the Berlin Crisis. He was a life member of the NRA who enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening and farming. He is survived by his beloved wife of 53 years; Lillian (Egloff) Linsenbigler; 3 loving sons; Keith (Cindy) of Apollo, Gary (Lisa) of Saltsburg and Jimmy (Tina) of Apollo. He was the proud grandfather of 6 grandchildren; Melissa, Jimbo, Christina, Dana, Nicole and Kelly. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends. A memorial visitation will be held at the Wolfe-von Geis Funeral Home, Inc., 5701 Lincoln Ave., Export (724) 327-1400 on Monday from 10 a.m. until time of Memorial Service at 12:00 noon. Interment will follow in Poke Run, Cemetery, Mamont with military honors accorded by the Greensburg V.F.W. Post #33 Honor Guard.
