Delores J. (Britz) Yadrick

Delores J. (Britz) Yadrick age 86 of White Valley died Monday, November 7, 2022 at Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was born August 6, 1936 in White Valley, the daughter of the late Edward and Kathryn (Medved) Britz. Delores was a life time member of Salem Lutheran Church, in Delmont. She was known as Cookie Grandma for her homemade delicious cookies. She enjoyed crocheting, trying different varieties of wine, going on trips to various wineries and family vacations to the Outer Banks, NC. In addition to her parents, Delores was preceded in death by her beloved husband Louis M “Lou” Yadrick; a grandson Ryder Reinhardt; a brother Carl Britz and son’s in-law; Tom Keifner and Jeff Hanks. Surviving are her loving children; Sherry McQuaide of White Valley, Cathy Hanks of Delmont, Susan Pendro of Greenville and Luann Keifner if Oakdale; cherished grandchildren, Louis (Allison) McQuaide, Ashlie McQuaide, Casey Hanks, Shawn (Amber) Hanks, Nicholas (Andi) Keifner, Katie Pendro, Nathan Keifner and Dmitry Pendro; adored great grandchildren, Angelina, Hunter, Carter, Haven, Kinley, Colton and Beckett; and a brother, Edwin (Carol) Britz of Delmont. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Family and friends are welcome Thursday from 2-4 & 6-8 at the Wolfe-von Geis Funeral Home, Inc., 5701 Lincoln Ave., Export (724) 327-1400. A funeral service will be held Friday at 11 a.m. in Salem Lutheran Church, 301 East Pittsburgh St., Delmont, PA 15626. Interment will follow in Twin Valley Memorial Park, Delmont.
