It is with deep sorrow that Mrs. Janet Louise Neptune Thomas and her daughter, Debra Thomas Puechl, announce the death of her beloved husband, Mr. David Eugene Thomas, (Captain),  92.

A funeral service to honor his life will be held at 11:00, on Saturday, April 25, 2026 in Poke Run Presbyterian Church, Apollo, PA. (everyone please meet at the church) .The Rev. Peter Goetschius will officiate with burial to follow in Twin Valley Memorial Park Cemetary, Delmont, PA. The family will receive friends from 2:00 - 4:00 and 6:00 - 8:00 on April 24, 2026, at Wolfe-von Geis Funeral Home, 5701 Lincoln Avenue, Export, PA 15632.   

Mr. Thomas was born on Thursday, December 7, 1933, in Murrysville, PA. He is the son of the later Arthur Eugene Thomas and the late Vera Gladys Christy Thomas..Preceded in death by his son, Jeffrey David Thomas, brother William Thomas and sister Donna Gardone.  

Survived by his wife Janet Thomas of 70 years. Daughter Debra Puechl ( Bob).  Grandchildren Brett Puechl (Mili), Curtis Puechl ( Allison), Stefanie Mauney (West), and 6 Great Grandchildren..
