Catherine “Katie” McCall age 92 of Export died Saturday, December 23, 2017 at William Penn Care Center, Penn Township. She was born December 9, 1925 in Franklin Township a daughter of the late David and Margaret (Hill) Lape. Katie was a retired seamstress for Golden Cleaners and was a member of Emmanuel Reformed United Church of Christ (Hills Church) in Export. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her beloved husband Clyde E. McCall, 2 siblings Lucille Watkins, Phillip Lape and 3 step children. Surviving are her loving children Earl, Dale and his wife Terry and Lannetta McCall all of Export; 4 cherished grandchildren, Lynn, Scott, Danyal and Christy, 4 adored great grandchildren, Ethan, Brittany and Marc and Cara Ann; siblings Edith Mountain, Harry Lape and Elsie Hockenberry. Also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins. Friends welcome at the Wolfe-von Geis Funeral Home, Inc., 5701 Lincoln Ave., Export (724) 327-1400 Wednesday from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. with services at 8:00. Interment will be private.
