Alice M. (Zimmerman) Hice

Alice M. “Dolly” (Zimmerman) Hice age 91 of Export died peacefully, May 31, 2021 at home with her loving family by her side. She was born March 27, 1930 in Rankin a daughter of the late Harry and Anna Mae Zimmerman. Dolly was a member of Emmanuel United Church of Christ (Hills Church) in Export. She was a former employee of Dick’s Diner, Mine Safety and was a volunteer for Murrysville Medic One for many years. She enjoyed flowers, plants and birds. She will be sorely missed by her cherished family including her 2 dogs; Rusty and R.J. In addition to her parents, Dolly was preceded in death by her beloved husband John D. Hice a son; William Hice daughters; Vicki (John) Schultz, Gloria (Joe) Mariskanish, Nancy Nesbitt and a sister Nancy Cardiff. Surviving are her loving children; Ricky Hice, Terri (Don) Dorman, Barb (Jay) Baughman. Also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Friends welcome Thursday from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m.at the Wolfe-von Geis Funeral Home, 5701 Lincoln Ave., Export, (724) 327-1400 where services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in Emmanuel Church Cemetery, Export.
