Albert Drnjevich Obituary

Albert W. “Sonny” Drnjevich, 85, of Export, passed away Monday, Nov. 28, 2022 at Forbes Regional Hospital. He was born January 27, 1937 to the late Albert and Elsie (Gredence) Drnjevich. A 1955 graduate of Franklin Regional High School, he was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Sonny worked for First National Bank of Export/Southwest Bank for nearly 40 years, happily helping many fellow Export residents and businesses with loans, before retiring as manager of the Export branch. He enjoyed carpentry, traveling, especially out west, and watching the Steelers with his late wife, Marion (Cruder). He is survived by his sister, Anita Lukacs, nephew John D. Lukacs, niece Maura Lukacs and other nieces and nephews. At Sonny's request, services will be held privately. Donations in his memory can be made to the Export Historical Society at exporthistoricalsociety.org and 5885 Fillmore Avenue, Export, PA 15632. Wolfe-von Geis Funeral Home, Inc., Export is assiting the family with funeral arrangements.
