Robert T. Hertzog

Robert T. “Bob” Hertzog age 88 0f Export died Sunday, September 30, 2018 in Excela Health, Westmoreland Hospital. He was born July 13, 1930 in Export a son of the late Charles and Esther Ann (Wilson) Hertzog. Bob was a member of the Delmont Presbyterian church and was a retired employee of the former J & L Steel Company, Pittsburgh. He was a United States Marine veteran having served during the Korean Conflict. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his beloved wife Sue (Berlin) Hertzog; a brother Charles Hertzog and a sister Gloria Wilson. Surviving are his loving children; Timothy Hertzog and Thomas (Deborah) Hertzog; Grandchildren, Grant and Brett Hertzog and Taylor Fortner; Great grandchildren; Addison Hertzog, Olivia Fortner and Tinley Hertzog. Also survived by nieces and nephews. Friends welcome Friday form 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at the Wolfe-von Geis Funeral Home, Inc., 5701 Lincoln Ave., Export (724) 327-1400 where services will be held Saturday at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow with military honors accorded by the Greensburg V.F.W Post 33, Greensburg in Twin Valley Memorial Park, Delmont.
