James R. Moose

James R. “Jim” Moose age 85 of Murrysville died Friday, April 28, 2017 in West Penn Hospice. He was born January 17, 1932 in Export a son of the late Ralph and Bertha Mae (Schreckengost) Moose. Surviving are his beloved wife Nokah A. (Yobp) Moose and loving daughter Jamie A. (Bob) Stallard of Murrysville, 6 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and a sister Peg Zucco of Delmont. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Jim was a retired employee of Consolidated Gas where he worked for 39 years and 2 months as a corrosion specialist and was a member of NACE (National Association of Corrosion Engineers). He enjoyed wood working and was an avid golfer. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a daughter Carol Moose, 3 sisters Marie Hollup, Ethel Henne, Esther Krevokuch and a brother Robert Moose, Sr. Friends welcome at the Wolfe-von Geis Funeral Home, Inc., 5701 Lincoln Ave., Export Monday from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. where services will be held Tuesday at 12 Noon with Reverend Joseph Hedden, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow in Twin Valley Memorial Park, Delmont. The family suggests memorial contributions in Jim’s name to West Penn Hospice.
