Genevieve (Pass) Lachmanek

Genevieve (Pass) Lachmanek age 100 of Export died Friday, January 5, 2018 at home with her loving daughter by her side. She was born January 3, 1918 in Export a daughter of the late Wendel and Karolina (Pjosek) Pass. Genevieve was a retired school teacher with the Franklin Regional School District, member of the First Catholic Slovak Union, George Onda district where she served as district president and was a lifelong active member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Export. In addition to her parents, Genevieve was preceded in death by her beloved husband Jacob M. Lachmanek and 11 siblings; Wendel Pass, Louis Pass, Anton Pass, Paul Pass, Vincent Pass, John Pass, Caroline Mahoy, Verna Pass, Anna Kovalsky, Mary Chamberlin and Joann Joyner. Survived by her loving children, Patrice “Patty” Kerr of Export and Paul Lachmanek of St. David, AZ; 2 cherished grandchildren; Barbara and Victoria Lachmanek of Sierra Vista, AZ. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
