Barbara (Snock) Karp age 82 of Export died Saturday, October 28, 2017 after a lengthy illness in Brookdale , Murrysville. She was born February 12, 1935 in New Kensington a daughter of the late Joseph M and Helen (Miller) Snock. Barb enjoyed gardening, reading and puzzles. She will be sadly missed by all that knew her including her loyal dog Dusty. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her beloved husband James “Jim” Karp and twin brothers Joseph and John Snock. Surviving are her loving daughters; Kathleen (Dennis) Baker of Murrysville, Linda (Robert) Finlay of Jeannette and Deborah Sauter of Wilkins Township. Also survived by 3 granddaughters and 5 great grandchildren. Friends welcome at the Wolfe-von Geis Funeral Home, Inc., 5701 Lincoln Ave., Export (724) 327-1400 on Monday from 11:00 a.m. until time of services at 12 noon. Interment will follow in Twin Valley Memorial Park, Delmont. The family would like to thank Christine from Heartland Hospice for her loving care and compassion.
